"Potential Spam"hung up after 4 rings. Another in a long line since May of similar calls from this area code/exchange: only the last 4 digits go up (never down) in random succession. Think spammer(s) are choosing unassigned #s from same block....

Caller ID field was blank, so screened the call. NO message left -- caller hung up before the answering machine kicked in. When I looked the number up, there were ALREADY reports on several sites like nomorobo.com that this was some sort of spam or telemarketer....

No message left. NO caller ID either. Gotten several other similarly behaving calls from this area code the past few days. Some sites say carrier is Level 3 Communications (aka "the spammers' best friend"). Others say it's something called McLeod Telecom (never heard of them before).

No message left by "Potential Spam". This is the 5th call since yesterday with the same behavior: hang up just before the machine can kick in and EITHER from "Potential Spam" or with NO caller ID showing at all....
