Chose "Other" because I've already seen this # flagged on other sites -- one report was that it's a healthcare spam call, and another (on a different site) that it's a tax debt relief spam call.... Take your pick (but it's STILL SPAM regardless).

Guessing that's the right category, given that the caller ID came up as "DOVER PA" (pushing the text to the edges of the screen, a red flag that it's spam.

Caller ID said "AHPA-PA". Husband told the caller to remove our #. Almost NO info about caller ID and NONE in connection with #, but he thinks it's political spam from a right wing PAC funded by the Koch Brothers....

No message left even though call went to voicemail (suggesting a robocall system). Caller ID said "BROWNSVILLE PA" (with space in the middle like that). Another report site had it flagged as a car warranty spam call.

Didn't recognize #; caller ID just said "HONESDALE PA" (yes, with the gap in the center). Googled the # and another report site had ALREADY flagged it as some sort of health insurance spam call....

6th call from "SAYRE PA" since early March. Only difference is the last 4 digits each time. This time? Picked up & immediately hung up when I saw the caller ID....

Caller ID said "Name Unavailable". I can't count how many calls which have come up on the caller ID that way. So picked up & hung up on general principle.

No message left by "Name Unavailable". Another site like this one had # flagged as being "invalid" (which I guess means it's a spoofed number or one that isn't in service. So, likely spam....

There is a scam going on where a person posing as one of your customers calls to get their sales contact name, and right after they ask for the business owner name, which is likely to be their actual target. They will then call you back later or another day asking for the owner directly pretending once again to be one of your customers in an effort to sell some sort of advertizing. In our case it was another number and they introduced themselves as UC Santa Barbara given we are based in California. The person on this most recent call introduced himself as part of Tennessee Tech University but the phone number was in NY!
